FULL BOARD (ACCOMMODATION AND ALL MEALS)
The accommodation is arranged into apartments of five single rooms. Each single room has an en-suite shower room and has its own lock and key for security. The apartments have their own kitchen with cooker, microwave, toaster and fridge. Delegates will need to bring their own tea, coffee, milk, cups etc. The University will provide bed linen and towels.
The rooms will be allocated only on advanced bookings received on a first come first served basis. Please book early to avoid disappointment. (There is Bed and Breakfast accommodation in the area and a list of some of them can be downloaded below.)
The rooms will be available from 12pm on Friday 11th June and need to be vacated by 10am on Sunday 13th June. A room will be available to store luggage on Sunday morning.
All rooms are accessible by wheelchair but there are 24 rooms for the disabled with an adapted en-suite shower. Please request on the booking form if you require an adapted room. They will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
The cost of full board for the whole weekend is adults £110 per person, aged 17 and under £40 per person.
MEALS
For delegates who pre-register for accommodation with full board, the meals package consists of breakfast, 2-course lunch and 3-course dinner. Meals are served with tea, coffee or juice. Lunch will be served at 1pm on the first day of the conference. Breakfast and morning break will be served on Sunday.
Delegates can pre-book lunch on Sunday if required. Please indicate on the booking form.
THE UNIVERSITY CATERERS DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS OR CHEQUES. ALL FOOD BOUGHT ON THE DAY MUST BE PAID FOR IN CASH.
PARKING
The University campus car park is pay and display. The cost for the weekend will be £3.50. The daytime cost is 50p and overnight £1.
TRANSPORT
The Hope Park campus is situated on Taggart Avenue in the Childwall district of Liverpool close to Queens Drive (A5058) and the end of the M62. It is located 8 miles from Liverpool City Centre. Public transport (bus) is available and takes approximately 25 minutes. There is local taxi service from the city centre.
